Job Description

Senior Delivery Manager leading complex transformation programmes for Iptor, a business technology solutions company. Orchestrating delivery, budgets, risks, vendors, adoption, and measurable outcomes across Portugal, Spain, and Poland.

Responsibilities:

  • Mobilise and lead complex, cross-functional transformation programmes from approved business case through implementation, adoption, and benefits realisation
  • Create integrated roadmaps, delivery plans, milestones, critical paths, and resource assumptions across concurrent initiatives
  • Resolve blockers, sequence dependencies, and drive timely decisions
  • Balance scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and outcomes, making trade-offs transparent to sponsors
  • Establish programme governance, delivery cadences, decision forums, and escalation paths
  • Own RAID, dependency, decision, and change-control disciplines
  • Provide executive reporting, forecasts, and recovery plans
  • Identify systemic risks and capacity constraints and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate initiative leaders, business owners, GTD, data teams, project managers, change leads, vendors, and implementation partners
  • Clarify ownership and interfaces across business, platform, integration, security, data, and operational teams
  • Lead supplier delivery reviews, milestone acceptance, and commercial discussions with Procurement and Finance
  • Apply Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Maintain plans, backlogs, and portfolio information using Jira, Confluence, and reporting tools
  • Use delivery and outcome metrics to improve performance
  • Integrate change impact, communications, training, adoption, and operational readiness into delivery plans
  • Define and secure acceptance of release, migration, cutover, support, and operational handover criteria
  • Track adoption and benefits with sponsors and intervene when outcomes are at risk
  • Own programme budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and vendor commitments within approved tolerances
  • Align BTO capacity with project, change, and specialist resources
  • Protect investment value through scope management, acceptance, and benefits governance
  • Provide financial and capacity insights for portfolio-level decisions
  • Act as senior delivery escalation point for complex, cross-functional, or at-risk initiatives
  • Represent BTO in steering committees, portfolio reviews, and partner governance forums
  • Provide calm, evidence-based leadership while maintaining confidentiality and control

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience leading complex transformation, technology, platform, or operating-model programmes
  • Proven end-to-end delivery experience from mobilisation and planning through implementation, adoption, operational handover, and benefits realisation
  • Strong expertise in integrated planning, forecasting, RAID, critical-path management, scope, budget, vendor, and benefits management
  • Strong Agile and hybrid delivery experience
  • Confident user of Jira, Confluence, and portfolio reporting tools
  • Working technical literacy across business processes, Power BI/data, AI, automation, integration, cloud, and Jira/JSM/ITSM platforms
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management, executive communication, and decision-facilitation skills
  • Strong delivery judgement, structured escalation, and ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Strong commercial awareness and disciplined financial, vendor, resource, and scope management
  • Ability to translate between business outcomes and technical delivery constraints
  • Coaching leadership style that builds accountability, ownership, and delivery maturity across teams
  • Resilient, pragmatic, and comfortable maintaining focus across multiple concurrent programmes
  • Strong commitment to measurable outcomes, adoption, and continuous improvement
  • Relevant programme, project, or Agile certification such as MSP, PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or Scrum is preferred
  • English language proficiency required
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and provide out-of-hours support around critical workshops, releases, or cutovers
