Job Description
Senior DevOps Engineer building secure, scalable infrastructure for Newfire Global’s vaccine-management mobile application. Supporting Epic integrations and reliable healthcare software delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and expertise in supporting software and services produced by the development team
- Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet project deadlines
- Follow and help refine development best practices and standards
- Participate in infrastructure reviews to ensure infrastructure is bug-free and follows best practices
- Plan infrastructure and application updates
- Assist with releases
- Modify existing infrastructure according to requirements
- Deploy new environments
- Perform other tasks related to system functionality
- Participate in hiring processes by serving on interview panels for future company roles
- Design and maintain a secure, scalable, high-performing DevOps environment for a healthcare vaccine-management mobile application
- Support reliable integration with the Epic ecosystem, Epic Rover mobile application, and customer systems
Requirements:
- 4+ years of commercial experience with DevOps
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changes
- Strong self-management and time-management skills
- Proficient English
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices
- Source control experience, such as GitHub and Bitbucket
- CI/CD experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Linux administration
- BASH scripting
- Python (nice to have)
- AWS infrastructure experience, including EKS, Lambda, S3, Route53, RDS, and IAM
- Container concepts and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience building secure infrastructure
- Familiarity with testing
- Healthcare experience
- Legal work authorization in the country of residence, documented in accordance with applicable law
