Job Description
Senior DevOps Engineer focusing on automation and project support for various clients at FourEnergy GmbH. Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
- As a consultant, you bring hands-on expertise directly into projects and genuinely impress colleagues and clients.

- You are passionate about automation and proactively automate build, test, and deploy processes.
- You master Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools to automate infrastructure management almost like magic.
- You keep a vigilant eye on clients’ on-premise and cloud infrastructures and continuously optimize them.
- You take care of alerting, monitoring, and tracing with dedication to ensure seamless operation.
- You collaborate closely with developers and testers in agile, cross-functional teams working with Scrum or Kanban.
- Your committed and independent working style ensures the smooth operation of the applications you help deliver.
- You represent the operational perspective confidently and competently to development teams, product owners, and other project stakeholders, making a real difference.
Requirements:
- You have at least three years of experience in the DevOps area and have previously worked in software development.
- You hold a degree in IT or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- You have experience with the following technologies and domains: Java, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Linux, Docker, SRE.
- You bring strong know-how in implementing CI/CD pipelines as well as in developing and deploying Java and web applications.
- You are familiar with microservice architectures and API design (REST, messaging).
- You have a basic understanding of network infrastructure (routing, load balancing, DNS).
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams is a strong advantage.
- You are communicative and open with your colleagues and clients and enjoy consulting work.
- You are fluent in German at a business level and have good English skills.
