Job Description

Senior DevOps Engineer for a fast-growing measurement company, designing, building, and maintaining reliable AWS infrastructure. Focused on Infrastructure as Code and operational excellence in cloud operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt
  • Own Infrastructure as Code patterns, module design, and environment consistency
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
  • Support production systems with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and security
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root cause analysis
  • Improve observability through logging, metrics, and alerting
  • Partner with engineering teams to enable scalable and repeatable deployments
  • Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities across AWS services
  • Enforce best practices around IAM, networking, and security controls

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering roles
  • Strong experience working in AWS in a production environment
  • Hands on experience with Terraform and Terragrunt
  • Solid understanding of core AWS services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch
  • Experience with security best practices including IAM policies, least privilege access, and secrets management
  • Experience managing multiple environments such as dev, staging, and production
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar
  • Comfortable working in Linux based environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Experience with Python for automation, tooling, or scripting is a plus
  • Experience with Redshift is a plus
