Job Description
Sr. Director leading municipal utility finance, funding strategies, and grant applications for Brown and Caldwell’s environmental engineering clients. Driving assessments, risk mitigation, and infrastructure financing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead targeted and comprehensive business assessments and develop implementation strategies and plans for clients
- Lead clients’ development and execution of comprehensive planning approaches connecting strategic goals and objectives
- Identify and recommend mitigation for risks to Brown and Caldwell and client organizations
- Ensure proper governance and policy development
- Work within federal and state funding programs to optimize funding opportunities
- Lead key municipal finance initiatives
- Lead infrastructure financing efforts, focusing on municipal utility finance
- Analyze market trends through competitor research and deliver industry insights
- Develop funding and financing strategies supporting infrastructure
- Execute additional assignments based on evolving needs
- Mentor, guide, support, and share knowledge with less experienced team members
Requirements:
- Minimum of 20 years of professional experience in infrastructure financing or a related relevant field
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, finance, environmental engineering, environmental science, or a related field
- Capable of researching, developing, and effectively communicating a client’s key business factors
- Advanced expertise in workforce development, performance improvement, and organizational design
- Strong governance and policy development skills
- Excellent facilitation and interview skills
- Effective written and verbal communication and strong presentation abilities
- Advanced expertise in risk identification, mitigation, and management
- Deep understanding of federal and state funding programs
- Advanced technical writing skills
- Advanced knowledge of municipal finance principles and practices
- Advanced competitor analysis and strategic market insight skills
