Job Description

Senior Director leading Clarivate’s Research and Analytics product sales growth for academic and government markets. Aligning strategy, operations, teams, and revenue execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives supporting company-wide objectives and long-term growth
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align departmental goals with overall business strategy
  • Oversee operations across multiple teams, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and accountability
  • Provide strategic insight, data-driven recommendations, and forward-looking planning to influence organizational direction
  • Build and maintain high-performing teams through collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor performance metrics and operational outcomes to identify improvements and implement solutions
  • Drive sustainable sales results by aligning team execution with strategic priorities and disciplined sales practices
  • Lead and direct teams across one or more functional areas
  • Translate company strategy into multifunctional objectives
  • Define, influence, and communicate a clear vision and long-term organizational plan
  • Build accountability for sustained sales performance through coaching, clear expectations, and operational discipline

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience leading strategic initiatives, operations, or business transformation across multiple functions
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership to align departmental goals with broader business strategy
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams across one or more functional areas
  • Experience translating company strategy into actionable objectives
  • Experience using performance metrics, operational data, and business insights to identify opportunities and implement solutions
  • Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within a complex or matrixed organization
  • Experience shaping long-term planning, organizational priorities, and operational governance
  • Advanced degree or equivalent executive-level business experience
  • Ability to work primarily during core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed
