Job Description

Senior EIS Portfolio Manager at Cedars-Sinai overseeing healthcare IT service lines and managing technology portfolios. Leading strategic planning, resource management, and stakeholder collaboration in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides oversight and strategic support to hospital and medical network service lines, creating and sustaining effective demand, prioritization, and resource management.
  • Provides leadership, mentorship, and direction for day-to-day IT operations and administrative activities.
  • Provides subject matter expertise in applications/systems, and ensures cross-functional integration of projects and assignments.
  • Leads the long-term strategic planning, design, development, and implementation of service line technology objectives.
  • Assesses, documents, and budgets potential projects; performs project resource planning; conducts continuous monitoring and reports on portfolio health.
  • Responsible for all aspects of a service line’s technology portfolio including conceptualization, scoping, prioritization, and activation of projects within the relevant service line.

Requirements:

  • Seven (7) plus years of experience in portfolio, program, and/or project management with a successful project management track record in full life cycle information technology implementation projects, with a proven record of execution to time and budget.
  • Two (2) plus years of Epic or other supporting software certified in relevant module preferred.
  • One (1) plus years of experience in healthcare IT portfolio or program management with the ability to manage large-scale IT systems implementations preferred.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Management, Business or related field, preferred.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, and/or CSM Certifications preferred.
