Job Description
Senior EMR Analyst designing and supporting Epic Home Care solutions at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Collaborating with clinical leaders and mentoring team members to enhance patient care technology.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, implement, and maintain complex systems that greatly improve clinical care and patient management.
- Support system testing and document testing outcomes.
- Drive process improvement efforts and demonstrate advanced problem solving and technical skills.
- Lead complex initiatives and mentor team members to ensure EMR systems support patient care.
- Conduct professional development sessions and maintain positive relationships internally and externally.
- Develop and manage project plans for new EMR requests and coordinate communication between internal and external parties.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
- Epic certification in the supported application(s) is preferred; certification required within six (6) months of the start date if not certified at the time of hire.
- Epic Build/Maintenance experience.
- Experience working with Home Care and Hospice teams in patient homes.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently.
