Job Description
Senior federal business development ambassador promoting Hypertec’s NASA SEWP contract and technology solutions. Building U.S. government relationships, pipelines, and revenue opportunities for Hypertec.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a senior ambassador for Hypertec within the U.S. federal marketplace
- Promote Hypertec’s NASA SEWP VI contract and technology capabilities to federal agencies
- Develop trusted relationships with contracting officers, program managers, technical leaders, and agency decision-makers
- Attend federal conferences, industry days, customer meetings, partner events, and networking activities
- Identify upcoming programs, funding priorities, procurement requirements, and competitive opportunities
- Create new customer introductions and coordinate follow-up with sales, technical, and executive teams
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of federal opportunities
- Support opportunity qualification, capture planning, teaming, positioning, and win strategies
- Develop relationships with OEMs, distributors, systems integrators, consultants, and strategic partners
- Position Hypertec’s capabilities across AI, HPC, servers, storage, networking, cybersecurity, data-centre infrastructure, and professional services
- Maintain accurate customer activity, opportunity, pipeline, and forecast information in the company CRM
- Provide regular market intelligence and recommendations to Hypertec leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of ten years of experience in federal business development, sales, capture, government relations, or industry engagement
- Experience developing or managing relationships with federal agencies, contracting officers, program managers, technical leaders, or government technology stakeholders
- Demonstrated record of identifying, developing, or advancing federal IT opportunities, including pipeline creation, pursuit support, or revenue contribution
- Working knowledge of NASA SEWP, including QRT, CHOP, and federal procurement processes
- Experience supporting opportunities through GWACs, IDIQs, GSA schedules, or other federal contract vehicles
- Knowledge and understanding of federal buying cycles, agency priorities, appropriations, and acquisition strategies
- Experience working with OEMs, distributors, systems integrators, or federal partners; existing relationships with these groups are preferred
- Ability to deliver presentations, lead customer or partner discussions, conduct networking activities, and build professional relationships in federal or technology markets
- Experience representing an organization in executive, customer, partner, conference, or government-agency settings
- Experience independently managing a pipeline, travel schedule, customer follow-up, or long-cycle opportunities through measurable outcomes
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the United States
