Job Description
Senior Finance Analyst managing accounting, payments, and reporting across Vietnam, Indonesia, and APAC. Supporting Distribusion’s global ground transportation marketplace and scalable finance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Take end-to-end ownership of finance operations across APAC, initially focusing on Vietnam and Indonesia
- Cover accounting, invoicing, settlement, reconciliation, banking, and payments
- Review and optimise local accounting operations with external providers
- Support selection, negotiation, onboarding, and transition of accounting providers
- Manage local banking relationships and entity financing activities
- Coordinate documentation, banking processes, regulatory registrations, and reporting
- Support monthly financial reporting and P&L analysis across APAC
- Identify trends, variances, and risks and provide insights to management and business teams
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Act as a Finance point of contact for APAC partners
- Own complex or urgent cases and coordinate timely resolution with internal teams
- Improve billing, reconciliation, and payment workflows and internal systems
- Support financial setup of new partners, markets, and entities
- Collaborate across Finance and the wider organisation on cross-functional initiatives
Requirements:
- 6+ years of relevant finance experience
- Solid accounting and financial operations knowledge
- Hands-on experience with month-end closing, invoicing, payments, settlements, reconciliations, and financial controls
- Practical experience with local GAAP and IFRS
- Experience working with external accountants and tax advisors across APAC markets
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and data analysis
- Familiarity with SQL, PostgreSQL, and AI tools
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence working directly with partners, banks, and service providers
- Fluent English and Vietnamese required
- Big 4 or audit background preferred
- Experience with Payment Service Providers, banking, or payment operations preferred
- Experience in technology, marketplace, e-commerce, travel, or transaction-heavy businesses preferred
- Exposure to group reporting and European or international headquarters preferred
