Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst owning Technology FP&A at Hims & Hers, a personalized healthcare platform. Forecasting costs, analyzing variances, and modeling cloud infrastructure spend.
Responsibilities:
- Own the tactical execution of the monthly forecast for the Technology organization, including headcount cost, equity, stock-based compensation, and other operating expenses
- Lead monthly budget-versus-actuals analysis, explain variances, and flag risks and opportunities
- Prepare the monthly budget deck and supporting analysis
- Manage headcount pacing and partner with hiring managers on open roles, timing, and backfills
- Own operating expense pacing across the Technology organization
- Build and maintain models for cloud and infrastructure spend, including commercial inference and usage-driven costs
- Partner with Technology leaders to forecast, pace, and optimize infrastructure spend
- Drive resource tagging and initiative-level tracking
- Partner with Technology and Finance leadership on trade-off decisions and financial implications of strategic and operational choices
- Report to the Director, FP&A
Requirements:
- B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A, finance business partnership, strategic finance, or a related analytic field
- 4+ years of experience building and manipulating financial models and large data sets in Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong command of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with non-finance partners
- Ability to translate financial concepts for a technical audience
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience partnering with a Technology, Engineering, or Product organization (nice to have)
- Familiarity with cloud/infrastructure cost modeling, including AI/ML compute or inference spend (nice to have)
- Experience with equity and SBC forecasting (nice to have)
- Experience with ERP and planning systems such as Oracle NetSuite, Anaplan, or Pigment (nice to have)
