Job Description

Senior FP&A Analyst translating transaction-based payment metrics into strategic recommendations. Partnering with Paddle leaders to improve profitable growth, forecasting, and investment efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Build financial partnerships with stakeholders across the business, including GTM and Operations
  • Advise senior leaders on resource allocation, commercial strategy, and investment optimization for Marketing and Product decisions
  • Analyze GMV, take rate, CAC, LTV, NRR, and churn to produce actionable recommendations
  • Identify and communicate important business risks and opportunities
  • Support business cases for pricing strategy, market or product expansion, and new launches
  • Support board-level reporting and strategic narratives with the Director of FP&A and VP of Finance
  • Evolve planning models connecting financial targets with operational execution
  • Build and deliver management reports and decision-oriented dashboards
  • Develop expertise in transaction-based revenue across customer segments, geographies, and products
  • Identify opportunities to optimize unit economics and capital efficiency
  • Contribute to KPI framework development and commercial fluency
  • Represent FP&A in cross-functional projects and champion data-driven decision-making

Requirements:

  • Commercially astute and strategically minded, able to connect financial data to business outcomes
  • Established stakeholder management and ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear narratives for non-finance audiences
  • Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning
  • Ideally experienced in SaaS, payments, or transaction-based business models
  • Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity in fast-paced scale-up environments
  • Experience with evolving tooling; Paddle is re-implementing Pigment
  • Detail-oriented with strong executive presence
  • Ability to present confidently to C-level stakeholders
  • Enjoys mentoring others and building team capability
