Job Description
Senior full-stack builder co-creating AI products for US startups through Katapult’s LATAM engineering studio. Designing architecture, interfaces, and workflows while orchestrating AI agents.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build products end-to-end alongside clients, including architecture, data models, integrations, and final interfaces
- Work in lean teams, typically starting at 2–3 people and scaling as projects grow
- Maintain direct client exposure without managers or leads absorbing communication
- Translate ambiguous business needs into clear, executable technical plans
- Explain and defend the rationale behind technical decisions
- Provide proactive, honest updates and push back on scope when needed
- Ask questions early to prevent technical issues from becoming client trust issues
- Use AI tools such as Claude and Claude Design as daily productivity multipliers
- Leave context, rules, and tests that enable AI agents and humans to work reliably
- Co-create with clients and actively shape product decisions
- Communicate Katapult’s value consistently with project stakeholders
Requirements:
- Fluent English sufficient for direct product and architecture conversations with US-based clients
- Solid full-stack experience across backend and frontend
- Mobile or micro-frontend experience is a plus
- Track record of quickly turning ambiguous product conversations into working architecture
- Experience considering scalability, access control, and integrations from day one
- Senior-level experience, including ability to run an engagement solo when needed
- Track record including both wins and lessons learned
- Prior experience working directly with clients or business stakeholders
- Startup or product-consulting background is a strong fit
- Comfortable using AI tools as a core part of daily workflow
- Ability to plan work and critically review AI-agent output
