Job Description
Senior Full-Stack Developer building secure, scalable web applications for Associated Bank’s digital banking strategies. Leading projects, evaluating technologies, and mentoring developers.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex, scalable web applications and services
- Build and maintain reliable, accessible, and responsive applications supporting digital and API strategies
- Analyze and translate business and technical requirements into application solutions
- Code, test, debug, document, and deploy application components and deployment scripts
- Lead development projects and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and consultants
- Evaluate emerging technology stacks, open-source libraries, design patterns, and development practices
- Mentor junior and new developers
- Ensure consistent, intuitive experiences across browsers, devices, and computing platforms
- Report suspicious activity to Financial Intelligence
- Report customer complaints and procedure violations to management or HR
- Report ethical concerns through Associated Bank’s anonymous Ethics Hotline
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Design, Visual Arts, Communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6+ years of experience developing or designing component-based web, mobile, or desktop applications
- Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles
- Advanced experience with JavaScript, including Node.js, React, Angular, and modern build tools
- Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and CSS preprocessors
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes preferred
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred
- Experience with C#, .NET, Java, Python, PHP, SQL, or other modern programming languages preferred
- Experience with responsive web design and accessibility standards preferred
- Experience mentoring developers or leading development projects preferred
