Job Description
Senior Full Stack Engineer bei Intersport für digitale Lösungen im Bereich Sport. Verantwortlich für die Entwicklung benutzerfreundlicher Erlebnisse und Backend-Dienste.
Responsibilities:
- Build and improve user-friendly experiences for search, navigation, category pages, filters, and recommendations
- Develop and maintain frontend applications with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and usability
- Contribute to backend services, APIs, and event-driven systems as needed
- Help shape technical decisions regarding architecture, tooling, and build-versus-buy trade-offs
- Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to define and deliver impactful solutions
- Take ownership from concept to production, including quality, performance, and operational stability
Requirements:
- Several years of experience developing and delivering complex web applications
- Strong frontend expertise with modern TypeScript-based frameworks
- Solid full-stack engineering skills and willingness to work on both frontend and backend
- Experience with server-side rendering and performance-oriented web development
- Fundamental understanding of system design, APIs, databases, and cloud-based architectures
- Product mindset and the ability to align technical quality with business impact
- Ability to ensure observability of systems in production, including metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting
- Experience with backend technologies such as Kotlin / Spring Boot, event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka), and cloud environments (AWS)
- High degree of ownership, self-organization, and comfort working in an autonomous team
- Strong communication skills in German and English.
