Job Description

Senior Full-Stack Engineer building scalable Go backend services and Vue frontend experiences for refurbed’s refurbished-products marketplace. Delivering high-performance, accessible features used by millions across Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in Go powering web and mobile applications
  • Improve system performance, monitoring, and developer experience across the stack
  • Drive technical design, code quality, and architectural improvements through RFCs and reviews
  • Develop scalable, high-performance frontend features following performance, accessibility, code quality, and maintainability best practices
  • Build and evolve high-traffic, user-facing pages serving millions of users
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver features end-to-end
  • Implement A/B tests and rollout strategies for new features
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across user-facing APIs and systems
  • Review code, mentor teammates, and contribute to technical interviews

Requirements:

  • Experience with Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, gRPC, and event-driven architectures
  • Solid understanding of API design, data modeling, and distributed systems
  • Significant experience designing and implementing full stack applications
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Knowledge of modern HTML and CSS
  • Familiarity with frontend development practices and tools
  • Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code
  • Focus on performance and reliability
  • Excellent English skills
