Job Description
Senior Go consultant engineering high-performance software and scalable architectures for German manufacturing clients. Advising customers at C-level and architecture level while delivering critical projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for business-critical projects following a focused onboarding phase
- Advise renowned market leaders and global players at C-level and architecture level
- Develop high-end software and implement scalable architectures
- Communicate technical visions and complex concepts to customers
- Work independently with a focus on technical outcomes and sustainable business value
- Exchange technical expertise with Senior Engineers and peers
- Work according to open-source-first principles and continuously expand your expertise
- Provide occasional on-site support to customers
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of proven professional experience developing with Rust
- Expert-level knowledge of concurrency patterns and the Go ecosystem
- Experience providing professional consulting services to customers
- Ability to structure complex topics and present them confidently to groups
- Willingness to provide Go code or project references
- Excellent spoken and written German and English skills for team and customer interactions
- Moderate willingness to travel, approximately once per quarter
- Willingness to work full time
- Experience with or interest in Go and Rust, as well as relevant technologies such as TypeScript, Python, C++/.NET, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MQTT, React, Vue.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, GitLab CI, AWS, and Azure
