Job Description
Senior Java Engineer developing and maintaining service-oriented platform with 50+ microservices at AUTO1 Group. Collaborating with engineering teams to drive technological innovation in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, QA, ship, monitor and maintain throughout the whole software development life cycle in our service-oriented platform with currently 50+ restful microservices
- Use your experience, hands-on and can-do attitude to solve complex problems
- Raise the bar and drive technological innovations to keep AUTO1 at the cutting edge
- Lead by example to push boundaries and excel
- Collaborate with various engineering and product teams to ensure our high business standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
- 7+ years of professional experience in Java programming with Spring-based technologies
- Understanding of microservices infrastructure
- Experience with distributed systems architecture and reliability engineering
- Experience with any major cloud vendor, especially AWS
- SQL and NoSQL database modeling and performance (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis)
- Deep understanding of JVM
- Strong experience in building Restful APIs
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot; ideally, experience in Spring Cloud, Spring internals knowledge
- Experience in financial domain
