Job Description
Senior Java Software Engineer developing scalable RESTful APIs utilizing Java and Spring Boot at Grupo Casas Bahia. Collaborating in agile teams to ensure code quality and architectural integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable, resilient RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design solutions with a focus on clean architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
- Work with relational databases (MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Ensure code quality with unit and automated tests.
- Participate in architectural and technical decisions, contributing strategic vision with a focus on scalability.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an agile environment.
- Use Azure for deployment and cloud application monitoring.
- Integrate systems and services using Kafka for messaging and asynchronous communication.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), and automated testing.
- Practice with Clean Code, Clean Architecture, microservices architecture, DDD, DED/EDA and design patterns.
- Experience with MongoDB, Redis, SQL Server, and other NoSQL solutions.
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with Kafka for messaging.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git), CI/CD, and monitoring.
- Nice to have:
- Knowledge/experience with Golang and/or .NET.
- Knowledge/experience with BDD.
- Knowledge/experience with tools such as ElasticSearch, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
