Job Description

Senior Customer Service Manager optimizing order-to-cash and pharmaceutical distribution for argenx’s autoimmune medicines. Leading logistics partners, compliance, market expansion, and product launches.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistical operations, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation
  • Manage order-to-cash activities, including sales orders, credits, returns, destructions, backorders, invoicing, blocked orders, and goods allocation
  • Secure order operations for LRDs and third-party customers and report business progress to senior management
  • Maintain integrity of financial transactions linked to finished-product movements
  • Coordinate with corporate and local Finance teams to meet O2C SLAs
  • Manage distribution-center operations and relationships with third-party logistics providers
  • Ensure financial and tax compliance for legal-entity transactions
  • Ensure seamless and optimized physical distribution to markets
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs, GDPs, policies, SOPs, and regulations
  • Maintain the quality system
  • Reconcile orders with third-party logistics providers and LRDs
  • Lead month-end reconciliation covering inventory, replenishment, safety stock, and reporting
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Support expansion into new markets and distributor management
  • Launch new products and manage rollout across markets
  • Lead or support development projects
  • Build and secure operations for selected markets
  • Define and implement a global customer approach
  • Develop and implement projects to reduce logistics costs
  • Report progress to senior management

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Pharmaceutical or Biologics manufacturing and cGMP processes, as well as new product introduction
  • Knowledge of GDP requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand and work with a number of different cultures
  • Customer-focused, respectful, high integrity, open and honest, and excellent at execution
  • BS knowledge required
  • Ability to work with CMO’s to ensure on-time resolution of problems
  • Effective in influencing decisions and multifunctional priorities across organizations and partners
  • Ability to analyze and interpret supply-chain information
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and networks
  • Demonstrated communication skills in a multicultural and multilingual global environment
  • Agile, adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, trust-building, and resilient
  • Demonstrable experience with project management, proactive planning, priority setting, and securing alignment
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish required; knowledge of French is a plus
  • Travel up to 20% of the time
