Job Description
Senior FP&A Manager guiding executive budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation. Supporting Credit Acceptance’s nationwide used and new car financing business.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to executive leaders and business owners
- Provide financial insight, budget management support, and decision-making guidance
- Lead operating expense budget management, including development, monthly monitoring, spend governance, variance analysis, and business-priority alignment
- Evaluate spending trends, risks, opportunities, business cases, investment requests, and resource allocation
- Deliver financial insights, budget performance reporting, and executive-level recommendations
- Establish budget accountability through regular reviews, variance explanations, and action plans
- Lead management, maintenance, and evolution of budget governance and financial planning tools and processes
- Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports
- Perform special projects and other assigned duties
- Comply with company policies, processes, and legal guidelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 8 years of equivalent financial analysis or accounting experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate budgeting role
- Solid understanding of corporate finance and accounting
- Strong proficiency with Power BI, Power Query, and MS Excel
- Required degrees must have been earned at accredited institutions of higher education
- Must not require sponsorship now or in the future to work legally for Credit Acceptance, including H-1B, H-4, or F-1 OPT visa holders
