Job Description
Senior Manager leading complex contract logistics solution design projects for DSV, a global transport and logistics company. Shaping warehouse, supply chain, and customer pricing solutions across Europe and global markets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple large-scale solution design projects simultaneously across regions and industries
- Act as the primary solution design lead in customer engagements throughout the bid and proposal process
- Analyze customer requirements, operational data, and RFP documentation
- Develop robust and competitive contract logistics solutions
- Design end-to-end warehousing and supply chain solutions
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across operations, finance, engineering, automation, IT, and commercial teams
- Develop and deliver customer presentations and solution proposals
- Ensure project delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards
- Support implementation planning, solution handover activities, and change management processes
- Contribute to DSV's global solution design methodologies, standards, and tools
- Share best practices, market insights, and innovative concepts across the Global Solution Design community
- Shape complex contract logistics solutions for global customers and support strategic growth across markets, industries, and products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in contract logistics solution design, warehouse engineering, or supply chain consulting
- Experience within third-party logistics (3PL), supply chain consulting, or large-scale logistics operations
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, network design, operational modelling, pricing strategies, and financial analysis
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-country and cross-functional projects
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience developing customer pricing models
- Knowledge of warehouse automation and logistics technology solutions is highly desirable
- Fluency in English
- Excellent computer software skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VISIO and AutoCAD required
- Experience with MS Access, simulation software and/or network modeling software is a plus
- Experience with simulation or network modelling tools is considered an advantage
