Job Description

Senior Manager overseeing mortgage non-funded support and regulatory compliance at CrossCountry Mortgage. Managing disposition workflows, audits, LOS implementations, and a specialized compliance support team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Non-Funded Support Team and oversee daily responsibilities
  • Ensure timely review and approval of disposition requests and compliance support cases
  • Participate in the Risk Management lifecycle through JIRA ticket creation and management
  • Conduct research, root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, UAT, and post-implementation validation testing
  • Provide oversight to LOS pipelines, disposition accuracy, folder placement, and timely file dispositioning
  • Build and maintain mechanisms for ECOA compliance event timing and disposition management
  • Serve as primary contact for new product and LOS implementation and conduct compliance testing
  • Support audits, examinations, monitoring, and compliance inquiries related to ECOA, FCRA, and adverse action
  • Draft audit narratives and create regulatory compliance data sets
  • Ensure adverse action and incompleteness notices meet regulatory requirements
  • Act as a policy and procedure subject matter expert for ECOA, FCRA, and adverse action
  • Review and approve disposition requests from sales teams
  • Manage NFST compliance support cases, including reactivations and file disposition issues
  • Adapt to changing regulations, product implementations, and evolving compliance requests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the mortgage industry
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a compliance and/or risk role
  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing teams, including reviewing and approving team outputs
  • Experience creating and analyzing data sets for audits and regulatory compliance
  • Experience acting as a key stakeholder for audits, exams, and compliance inquiries
  • Working knowledge of JIRA
  • Working knowledge of ECOA, FCRA, adverse action regulations, and related policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with applicable LOS, including Encompass, NFTYDoor, Figure, and Quantum Reverse
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, prioritization, and time management skills
