Job Description

Senior Product Marketing Manager leading positioning, go-to-market strategy, and advocacy for Coursedog’s intelligent academic operations platform. Driving growth across higher education institutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic vision and execution of Coursedog's product marketing function
  • Own product marketing strategy, positioning, messaging architecture, and go-to-market plans
  • Oversee market and competitive research for segmentation, personas, pricing, and product roadmap alignment
  • Align Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing leadership on strategy, messaging, and priorities
  • Establish and oversee KPIs including pipeline influence, win rates, competitive win/loss analysis, and customer satisfaction
  • Develop customer advocacy programs including advisory boards, case studies, testimonials, and reference networks
  • Lead customer- and prospect-facing assets such as positioning documents, battlecards, sales enablement materials, website content, videos, and thought leadership
  • Own sales enablement strategy and execution
  • Represent Coursedog at industry events, conferences, analyst briefings, and speaking engagements
  • Build relationships with industry analysts, press, and key opinion leaders
  • Travel onsite for conferences and events approximately 20% of the year
  • Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve product marketing efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience
  • At least 2+ years in a leadership or strategic role
  • Deep expertise in market research, competitive analysis, buyer persona development, and segmentation methodologies
  • Ability to craft compelling positioning and messaging across multiple audiences and personas
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution excellence
  • Experience driving sales enablement and measuring pipeline and revenue outcomes
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior leadership across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • Comfortable presenting to executives, customers, and external audiences at conferences
  • Experience with SaaS pricing strategy, packaging, or go-to-market launches
  • Knowledge of or passion for the higher education market or complex B2B enterprise software environments
  • Strong business acumen and ownership mentality
  • Experience using AI tools and technologies in marketing strategy, content development, and cross-functional collaboration
