Job Description
Senior Mobile SDK Engineer building Unity-integrated iOS and Android SDKs for MWDN’s global IT outstaffing clients. Owning architecture, releases, compatibility, and ongoing support for a mobile gaming loyalty platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a reliable SDK for integration into Unity-based mobile games and applications
- Build and maintain native SDK components for iOS and Android, together with the Unity integration layer
- Define the SDK architecture, public APIs, integration patterns, and communication between Unity and native mobile components
- Own the SDK lifecycle from initial design and implementation through packaging, release, monitoring, and ongoing support
- Ensure compatibility across Unity versions, iOS and Android versions, devices, and customer environments
- Collaborate with the Mobile Lead and other engineers on technical decisions and implementation
- Proactively identify technical risks and recommend practical solutions without requiring close supervision
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience developing mobile SDKs used within Unity applications
- 3+ years of relevant Unity SDK development experience
- 2+ years of native mobile development
- Strong understanding of Unity and the integration between Unity/C# and native mobile code
- Professional experience with native Android development using Kotlin
- Professional experience with native iOS development using Swift
- Understanding of mobile application lifecycles, performance considerations, threading, and debugging
- Previous experience leading or taking substantial ownership of an SDK initiative is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly
- High level of ownership, internal motivation, and ability to work independently
