Job Description
Senior National Sales Executive growing Engle Martin’s insurance claims services through Texas-focused business development. Winning broker accounts, leading sales proposals, and expanding national revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Sell Engle Martin’s business products and services throughout the USA, with a Texas focus
- Hunt for new prospective customers needing the organization’s services
- Generate business development leads and support distribution and sale of products and services to new clients
- Collaborate with the sales team, sales support, Specialty Loss Group, and marketing team
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with corporate goals
- Coordinate sales proposals and RFPs, and manage formal and informal presentations
- Conduct cold calling and follow up with warm prospects from marketing campaigns and advertisements
- Direct sales forecasting and set performance goals
- Analyze, manage, and control expenditures within assigned budgets
- Work with operational subject matter experts and senior leadership for pull-through
- Enhance lead generation and revenue opportunities through channel distribution
- Use sales statistics and CRM data to formulate upsell and cross-sell strategies
- Identify subject matter experts to assist in closing sales
- Complete periodic sales information reports covering wins and pipeline
- Review pricing schedules and client instructions for the claims administration team
- Maintain knowledge of company products, services, and relevant customer information
- Monitor and evaluate competitors’ activities and products
- Represent the company at trade association meetings
- Deliver sales presentations to prospects
- Maintain awareness of client spend distribution and the company’s share versus competitors
- Act as client liaison for concerns, complaints, and issues
- Establish and maintain relationships with prospective clients, primarily retail and wholesale brokers
- Address client needs and direct problem resolution
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Risk Management, or an equivalent field
- 7+ years of experience in Sales or Account Management, preferably in an Insurance/Claims-related role, including Independent Adjusting Services and TPA Services
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve
- Clear and concise presentation and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience building relationships at multiple levels within retail and wholesale insurance brokerages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to problem solve
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM systems
- Willingness to travel in a work capacity, including evening, overnight, and weekend hours
- Willingness to accommodate occasional meetings and work activities after normal daytime business hours
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10–20 lbs
- Ability to perform frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching; occasional kneeling and stooping
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Ability to drive periodically
