Job Description
Senior Presales Solutions Engineer leading API governance and secure digital ecosystem architecture for Boomi’s AI data platform. Advising enterprise clients across North America on integration, APIs, and MDM.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of comprehensive API strategies across the full lifecycle, including OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, security policy enforcement, and retirement
- Advise C-level stakeholders and Enterprise Architects on the ROI of API-first strategies, security, scalability, and data productization
- Serve as subject matter expert on OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and enterprise security governance
- Architect and demonstrate Developer Portals for internal and external API discovery and consumption
- Coordinate cross-functional internal specialists for high-stakes Proofs of Concept and technical RFI/RFP responses
- Demonstrate the intersection of API Management, iPaaS, and MDM, orchestrating data flows to deliver secure, high-integrity enterprise Golden Records via APIs
- Lead complex technical engagements in North America as a principal architect and trusted advisor
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in API Lifecycle Management and deployment of high-performance API Gateways in complex, distributed environments
- Deep technical proficiency in modern identity providers and security frameworks
- Experience designing solutions incorporating Microservices, Service Mesh, and Event-Driven Architectures (EDA)
- Track record of driving technical alignment in a sales environment
- Exceptional ability to present to executive-level audiences
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end data lifecycle, including ETL/ELT and Master Data Management principles
- Advanced proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP ecosystems and enterprise API suites such as MuleSoft, Apigee, or Kong (preferred)
- Professional certifications in cloud architecture, information security, or enterprise frameworks such as CISSP, CCSP, or TOGAF (preferred)
- Expertise in API Lifecycle Management and security/orchestration of AI-driven APIs and LLMs (preferred)
- Familiarity with data integration platforms and MDM solutions (preferred))
