Job Description

Senior Product Manager owning technology products and enterprise implementations for START’s oncology clinical research network. Leading roadmaps, delivery, integrations, vendors, and adoption across US and EU operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for assigned platforms and implementations, from discovery through go-live, adoption, and post-launch optimization
  • Define and maintain product roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy, portfolio priorities, and capacity constraints
  • Lead discovery efforts, stakeholder sessions, needs assessments, and translation of clinical and operational requirements into prioritized product backlogs
  • Liaise between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors on scope, timelines, and dependencies
  • Drive portfolio prioritization, benefits realization analysis, capacity planning, and trade-off recommendations for executive leadership
  • Lead enterprise system implementations and integrations across clinical, operations, IT, and third-party partners
  • Define success metrics and acceptance criteria; monitor adoption and post-launch outcomes and drive corrective action
  • Identify, escalate, and manage product-level risks and issues
  • Provide executive-appropriate status communications and escalation summaries
  • Champion process improvement and change management, including training, documentation, and stakeholder readiness
  • Mentor Product Managers and establish standards for requirements documentation, delivery practices, and stakeholder engagement
  • Identify and implement enhancements to product and delivery practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, IT delivery, or technology implementation, with demonstrated ownership of full-lifecycle initiatives
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional technology initiatives in complex or regulated environments
  • Strong proficiency in requirements solicitation, backlog management, and product roadmap development
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and third-party implementation partners
  • Exceptional stakeholder communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership
  • Proficiency in producing metrics, dashboards, and executive-level status reports
  • Experience with project and product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms
  • Experience in clinical research, oncology, life sciences, or a regulated healthcare environment strongly preferred
  • CBAP, CSPO, or PMP certification preferred
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or other process improvement certification preferred
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Approximately 80% of time spent sitting
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare environment
