Job Description
Senior Project Manager delivering cross-functional technology projects for XTB, a global investment company. Managing roadmaps, risks, stakeholders, and PMO processes across fintech teams.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key part of the PMO within the Product & Technology IT department
- Drive end-to-end projects crossing multiple IT teams, non-IT departments, and external vendors
- Manage initiatives ranging from 1–2 months to 1–2 years, adapting plans for successful delivery
- Manage stakeholders at all levels, including SME, Corporate management, Consulting services, Trading, IT, and Accounting
- Collaborate daily with Product Managers, Program Managers, and Team Leads
- Create, visualize, and update project roadmaps
- Own goal decomposition and project documentation
- Organize workflows, communication channels, approval processes, checkpoints, and documentation standards
- Identify and methodically manage key risks and remove delivery obstacles
- Lead workshops and working sessions
- Report project statuses to key stakeholders
- Create and implement processes using data from Jira, BI, and DB to support the PMO and the Tech & Product department
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, including at least 3 years as a Project Manager (or in a similar role)
- A strong technical background and solid domain knowledge of financial products / fintech
- A project management certification (e.g., Prince2 or PMP)
- Advanced proficiency in AI tools (Claude Code), JIRA, Excel, and Google Spreadsheets
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and various IT specializations (FE, BE, QA, BA, Arch, UX, UI, PO, SM, DevOps)
- Experience in agile product development (Scrum, Kanban) and cross-team collaboration
- Highly developed soft skills: assertiveness, effective communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation
- Process-oriented mindset, a high level of independence, and the ability to quickly grasp complex domain knowledge
- English proficiency of at least C1 level
