Job Description
Senior Project Manager leading multi-discipline projects at Gray AES, a global service provider in engineering, design and construction. Responsible for overall success and collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the planning, execution, and delivery of multi-discipline projects from initiation to closure
- Responsible for the overall success of projects, ensuring predictable results across all deliverables and metrics
- Utilizes leadership skills to foster collaboration across departments
- Develop project scopes, objectives, and detailed plans
- Responsible for developing skills of other project managers
- Disseminate information about project progress and outcomes to leadership
- Maintain a high level understanding of project and customer dynamics
- Complete understanding of project roles and individual skillsets among project team
- Provide coaching and feedback on project team members
- Understand the company’s Vision and Strategic Plan
- Take lead in the estimating and proposal phase of projects
- Provide on-site support and coordination as required
Requirements:
- 10 or more years relevant experience in project management within professional services, manufacturing, or related industries
- Demonstrated success leading Design-Build projects from proposal through commissioning
- Understanding of the industrial manufacturing space and solutions
- Project planning, scope definition, and value engineering
- Experience collaborating with engineering, automation, procurement, and construction teams
- Experience leading customer engagements in a design-build environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to negotiate on behalf of the company
- Comfortable working in various settings such as industrial facilities, standard office, and remotely
