Job Description
Senior Proposal Writer developing strategic RFP responses for Netsmart’s healthcare care platforms. Managing concurrent proposals, technical content, compliance, and stakeholder reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Represent technical functionality to clients and prospects responding to Requests for Proposals and questionnaires
- Write, edit, and format proposal responses for strategic opportunities
- Review and maintain existing RFP content and Question and Answer data
- Manage multiple concurrent proposals using project management tools, proposal plans, schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and reviews
- Understand Netsmart’s Core CareRecord and CareFabric platforms and craft responses aligned with client strategies and priorities
- Interpret prospects’ technical questions and provide direct responses
- Describe how the Netsmart platform supports business needs and workflows in served markets
- Support internal stakeholders by reviewing responses as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- At least 5 years of proposal industry or technical writing experience
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new software and technology
- Ability to support internal stakeholders in adopting technology as needed
- Excellent problem resolution, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to interpret prospects’ technical questions and provide direct responses
- Ability to embrace unexpected changes in direction or priority
- Ability to describe how the Netsmart platform supports business needs and workflows
- Ability to constructively support internal stakeholders by reviewing responses
- Preferred: proposal or writing experience in the healthcare IT sector
- Preferred: background using an RFP cloud-based proposal response platform
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check, including a drug screen
