Job Description
Quality Assurance Analyst focusing on automation and performance for fintech company. Contributing to test culture and quality metrics in software development.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute beyond the boundaries of the QA chapter, promoting a culture of testing and quality
- Define, implement and collect quality metrics and indicators
- Seek optimization and performance improvements in work processes
- Propose and participate in technical discussions
- Plan and execute tests (manual and automated)
- Identify issues/risks and develop action plans
- Automate test scenarios
- Collect and record bug evidence
Requirements:
- Main challenges:
- Contribute beyond the boundaries of the QA chapter, promoting a testing and quality culture to help build a product that meets our customers' expectations;
- Define, implement and collect quality metrics and indicators to drive continuous improvement of testing activities;
- Continuously seek optimization and performance improvements in work processes, always looking for automation opportunities;
- Propose and participate in relevant technical discussions, researching new test automation tools/frameworks and making technical decisions focused on enhancing platform quality;
- Plan and execute tests (manual and automated) based on functional and non-functional requirements;
- Identify issues/risks and develop action plans to avoid or mitigate them;
- Automate test scenarios and ensure adequate coverage according to the defined strategy, integrating them into execution suites/pipelines;
- Collect and record bug evidence, support the prioritization process and track resolution to ensure necessary retesting;
- Mentor less experienced team members on software quality best practices/standards;
- Act with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, using failures as learning opportunities in a data-driven culture.
