Job Description

Senior analyst managing complex defined contribution and defined benefit programs for a North American manufacturing organization. Analyzing plan data, compliance, costs, and performance for Benefits leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration, analysis, and ongoing management of retirement benefit programs across North America
  • Analyze and interpret complex retirement plan data, including participation, contribution, funding, and plan performance information
  • Support both defined contribution (DC) and defined benefit (DB) retirement plans
  • Partner with external retirement plan administrators, consultants, actuaries, recordkeepers, and other vendors
  • Review plan data and reports for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and coordinate resolution of issues
  • Assist with plan audits, compliance activities, regulatory requirements, and required filings
  • Analyze retirement benefit costs and trends and provide meaningful insights to Benefits leadership
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and analytical materials for leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Support plan changes, enhancements, and implementation of new retirement programs or processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve retirement benefits processes, data integrity, reporting, and overall program effectiveness
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams
  • Stay current on retirement benefits regulations, industry practices, and emerging trends
  • Provide analytical support for special projects and other strategic benefits initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 4 years of strong experience working with defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans
  • Must reside in the Eastern or Central time zone in one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas or Virginia
  • Must be able to travel to the US corporate office 2-3 times per year
  • Highly analytical with the ability to work comfortably with large and complex datasets
  • Strong understanding of retirement plan administration, processes, and terminology
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or potential issues in data
  • Ability to communicate complex benefits information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working with retirement plan vendors, consultants, and third-party administrators
