Job Description
Senior Sales Manager responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships in DACH region. Driving sales growth through tailored solutions and KPI achievement.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify and win new business opportunities in assigned market segments to strengthen the sales pipeline and achieve revenue growth
- Develop tailored proposals, negotiate terms and successfully close contracts in line with company policies and profitability targets
- Maintain and expand existing customer relationships through regular reviews to identify additional business opportunities and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., Finance, Logistics, Marketing) to ensure a smooth onboarding process and successful execution of sales strategies
- Manage and track all sales activities in the CRM system to ensure a continuously populated and actively managed sales pipeline
- Achieve relevant KPIs, particularly revenue targets, new customer acquisition and customer satisfaction (NPS)
- Conduct market analyses and competitive monitoring to support strategic sales planning
- Contribute improvement suggestions for inside-sales processes and the customer experience to ensure long-term success
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in sales / as an Account Manager with a focus on growth (hunting)
- Experience in senior stakeholder management
- Proven experience in developing commercial strategies and business cases
- Solid background in solution selling
- Experience with FMCG, retail or supply chain is an advantage
- Excellent negotiation skills within consultative selling / understanding of the buyer’s journey
- Commercial mindset with a results- and competition-oriented approach
- Resilience and the ability to build trust quickly with counterparts
- Strong interpersonal skills
