Job Description
Senior SAP Fiori/UI5 consultant designing and delivering SAP solutions for energy providers. Advising customers on Fiori, UI5, S/4 Utilities, integrations, and architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and take responsibility for end-to-end solutions for energy providers—from requirements analysis through maintenance and optimization.
- Design SAP architectures with a focus on SAP Fiori/UI5-based solutions and backend service integrations.
- Model and implement UI concepts, data models, services, and business logic, and integrate them into existing SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, S/4 Utilities).
- Work with SAPUI5/Fiori, OData/REST APIs, CDS views, and SAP API Management to map energy-sector processes.
- Advise business units and IT teams on best practices, extension strategies, and integration scenarios.
- Facilitate workshops and demos.
- Define and establish development and integration standards for customers and internally.
- Mentor and coach consultants and associate developers.
- Build expertise in Fiori/UI5 in the utilities context.
Requirements:
- Several years of demonstrable experience in SAP development (backend/full-stack), ideally in the energy sector.
- Excellent knowledge of several of the following technologies: SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, CDS, RAP, OData/REST services, and ABAP.
- Experience mapping business processes for energy providers (SAP S/4 Utilities) or comparable industry solutions.
- Experience in solution design, architecture, and technical consulting, including solution outlines, documentation, and stakeholder alignment.
- Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and provide well-reasoned recommendations.
- Experience managing projects or subprojects.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps principles, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent German and good English skills.
- Strong customer focus, confident presence, excellent communication skills, and enthusiasm for working with interdisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to deliver presentations, internal sessions, or community activities on topics such as Fiori/UI5 or energy-sector processes.
