Job Description
Senior SBA franchise development officer managing and growing franchise lending relationships for Huntington. Identifying top franchise brands and driving SBA loan volume nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Manage existing franchise relationships valued at approximately $25-$50MM
- Grow franchise relationships as tracked by velocity codes
- Determine the top 100 franchise brands in the country and contact appropriate people for SBA loan volume
- Support Business Banking production by maintaining franchise volume by brand
- Research and develop streamlined loan processes by brand
- Assess borrower risk profiles
- Perform training and administrative tasks supporting the brand/franchise loan process
- Maintain productivity tracking by brand
- Manage weekly or biweekly vendor meetings
- Follow up on loan volume in and out of the credit loan center
- Handle customer and vendor issues related to SBA loans
- Create reporting by brand for volume and referral-fee tracking
- Travel to vendors, present SBA loan options, and educate franchisees at conferences and discovery days
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of Franchise Business Development or experience building franchise relationships
- Ability to travel as required
- Prior SBA business development experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resources
- Excellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising quality
