Job Description
Senior SEO Manager developing AI-driven SEO strategies for demanding clients at SUMAX in a remote setup from Germany.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for SEO strategies for demanding clients — but not in the traditional way.
- At our company, being a Senior SEO means: you think in systems, not checklists.
- You use AI not as a gimmick, but as a core tool in your daily work.
- You develop strategies that combine human expertise with machine intelligence.
Requirements:
- At least 3–5 years of experience in SEO (agency or in-house)
- Deep understanding of technical SEO, content strategy and off-page SEO
- Demonstrable experience with or a strong affinity for using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini — whichever you use, the important thing is that you work with them actively and critically)
- You have built or optimized your own AI workflows — or are eager to learn
- Experience with SEO tools such as Sistrix, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Independent, structured way of working
- Excellent German skills, good English.
