Job Description
Senior software developer building secure, scalable applications for OnTrac, a U.S. same-day and next-day delivery provider. Developing, deploying, troubleshooting, and improving software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy software applications based on business and technical requirements
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and QA teams to support successful project delivery
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives across the software development lifecycle
- Maintain documentation for software design, architecture, and processes
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions
- Ensure development activities comply with applicable security and regulatory standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Deep understanding of industry principles and terminology
- Knowledge of standard office software and technologies
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Effective collaboration in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques
- Ability to creatively resolve a broad range of issues and recommend alternative approaches
