Job Description

Senior Software Engineer developing Radformation’s ChartCheck application for safer cancer-treatment planning workflows. Building full-stack web systems for radiation oncology clinics.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain full stack functionality for the ChartCheck web application across frontend and backend systems
  • Design, develop, and maintain browser-based web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create software products for cancer treatment centers
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high software quality standards
  • Track and manage development work through tickets and project workflows
  • Support teammates through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mentorship
  • Contribute to secure and compliant software development practices within healthcare environments
  • Advance ChartCheck to improve the safety, efficiency, and quality of cancer treatment planning workflows
  • Contribute to new product development initiatives for cancer centers

Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience
  • Deep programming expertise in JavaScript and/or TypeScript in a browser environment
  • Experience building and maintaining production web applications with modern JavaScript/TypeScript technologies
  • Full stack development experience across frontend and backend systems
  • Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Database experience with MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
  • MS preferred
  • Experience with C#/.NET
  • WPF / C#.NET experience
  • Clinical programming experience with HL7 or DICOM
  • Experience within HIPAA and medical device software development environments
  • Cybersecurity and software risk management experience
  • Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as Lit, React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, or similar
  • Team player mindset with shared ownership
  • Adaptability in fast-moving and evolving environments
  • Openness to feedback and commitment to continuous learning
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and thoughtful engineering practices
  • Commitment to code quality and testing standards
  • Ability to work independently while communicating progress clearly
