Job Description
Senior Software Engineer owning Salesforce B2C Commerce integrations for Algolia’s AI search and discovery platform. Driving architecture, reliability, and technical delivery for enterprise commerce customers.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and evolve Algolia's Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFCC) integration
- Own the integration's architecture, scalability, and long-term technical direction
- Contribute to other integrations as needed
- Own technical work from design through delivery and ongoing improvement
- Write technical RFCs and contribute to architecture and design decisions
- Improve the quality, reliability, and maintainability of the integration
- Investigate and resolve complex integration issues
- Partner across Engineering, Product, Support, and customer-facing teams to provide technical solutions
- Provide technical input to roadmap planning, including level-of-effort estimates and identifying opportunities to improve and evolve the integration
Requirements:
- Extensive Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFCC) experience
- Deep knowledge of SFRA, cartridges, hooks, jobs, services, and B2C Commerce APIs
- Experience designing and maintaining production SFCC integrations
- Strong JavaScript skills
- Experience with requireJs, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Experience integrating commerce platforms with external APIs and services
- Software engineering fundamentals, including automated testing, maintaining existing test suites, debugging, code quality, and maintainable design
- Ability to own complex technical problems, identify root causes, and implement reliable engineering solutions
- Ability to communicate technical findings, remediation plans, and trade-offs clearly through technical documentation and RFCs
- Collaborative approach and willingness to learn, share knowledge, and work across technologies
