Job Description
Senior full-stack engineer building Node.js, AWS, and React products for Neumo’s government-services business. Developing cloud features, integrations, and CRUD interfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new features across both frontend and backend systems
- Design and implement features for two new products
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define technical requirements and deliverables
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, quality, and security standards
- Collaborate on architectural decisions aligned with long-term business goals
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve development processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in a computer related field
- 7+ years’ experience in Software Development
- 4+ years’ experience in Cloud Development, both front and back
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
- Strong Node.js/JavaScript, including comfort with both module systems
- AWS serverless architecture experience with Lambda, SQS, S3, Secrets Manager, DynamoDB, and API Gateway
- Experience with Serverless Framework v4 and serverless-offline
- PostgreSQL with Knex and Objection.js
- Experience writing and rolling back database migrations
- React and Next.js 14 fundamentals, with form-heavy and table-heavy CRUD UI experience
- Experience working within an internal design system, including debugging CSS specificity/source-order issues
- SOAP and XML processing
- TIFF/PNG processing and PDF generation
- Express, including serverless-express in Lambda and EC2 deployments
- Jest for unit and integration testing
- Cypress for UI testing
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Experience using AI coding tools
