Job Description
Senior .NET/Azure engineer building backend systems, APIs, and Azure cloud applications for Expleo. Developing microservices and deployment pipelines while collaborating with Spanish-speaking teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop software with a strong backend focus
- Design and develop REST APIs
- Build and maintain microservices and distributed systems
- Develop cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure
- Use Azure DevOps, CI/CD and deployment pipelines
- Follow modern Git-based software development workflows
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes
- Work with SQL / SQL Server and relational databases
- Implement and maintain automated tests
- Work in Agile development environments
- Contribute to front-end development using Angular, React or Vue.js
- Collaborate regularly with Spanish-speaking team members
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong backend focus
- Strong hands-on experience with C# / .NET / .NET Core / .NET 6+
- Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs
- Proven experience with microservices and distributed systems
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application development
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD and deployment pipelines
- Solid experience with Git and modern software development workflows
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Good knowledge of SQL / SQL Server and relational databases
- Experience implementing and maintaining automated tests
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Some front-end development experience with Angular, React or Vue.js
- Fluent Spanish level
- Fluent English level, written and spoken
- Must already be living in Portugal
