Job Description
Staff Software Engineer developing Everbridge’s agentic AI platform for Everbridge’s SaaS solution. Designing scalable applications and APIs with React, Node.js, Java, and Python.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, test, and maintain product features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications and APIs.
- Participate in technical discussions and provide insights to improve architecture, scalability, and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth operation of web applications and APIs.
- Develop Everbridge’s agentic AI platform used by its SaaS solution.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a professional software engineer.
- Experience developing AI solutions or an eagerness to learn.
- Experience developing with Agentic AI practices and coding tools.
- A range of software development and delivery experience.
- Interest in solving complex problems that help keep people safe.
- Eager to own feature work and be involved in the details of a feature’s lifecycle.
- Experience in large code-base products or enterprise grade software.
- Experience with cloud platforms, with AWS experience being preferred.
