Job Description

Senior frontend engineer establishing Axiom’s React and TypeScript architecture. Building accessible, multi-tenant applications for Prescryptive’s prescription drug access marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the frontend architecture for applications serving internal, customer, and partner audiences
  • Establish integrations between applications and the governed backend, including quick interactions and longer review or approval processes
  • Build a multi-tenant theming and branding architecture for distinct organization-specific experiences within a single codebase
  • Set accessibility, code quality, and documentation standards
  • Establish engineering patterns that support the application suite as the team grows
  • Collaborate with the Axiom team, engineers, and technical leaders across Prescryptive
  • Resolve open design questions and make durable technical decisions
  • Build production software and frontend foundations for Axiom applications

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Deep expertise in React
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript
  • Experience with MUI (Material UI) or a comparable design system, such as Ant Design or Chakra
  • Experience building and maintaining a shared component library and theming system
  • Experience establishing a design system or component library from an early, near-zero starting point
  • Experience building multi-tenant or white-label frontend architecture with customer- or organization-specific theming and branding
  • Hands-on accessibility experience, including ARIA patterns, keyboard navigation, and screen reader testing
  • Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code or similar tools
  • Experience building against well-governed, strongly typed APIs
  • Experience building interfaces for quick interactions and longer review or approval workflows
  • Track record working with regulated or sensitive data, such as healthcare or financial data
  • Strong written communication and ability to document architecture and technical decisions
  • Ability to independently resolve evolving architecture and open design questions
  • Conceptual familiarity with policy or authorization engines (ideally)
  • Experience building both an internal tool and an external customer-facing product (ideally)
