Job Description
Senior SRE Analyst for a tech consulting company specializing in reliability and automation. Will lead initiatives in monitoring and observability in cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical authority for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices;
- Support squads in defining and adopting reliability and operations standards, frameworks and best practices;
- Design, implement and evolve observability, monitoring and alerting solutions;
- Automate operational processes and reduce manual errors;
- Investigate incidents and performance bottlenecks, conducting root cause analyses (RCA);
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality, security and efficiency of deliveries;
- Work with infrastructure as code to promote scalable, resilient and reproducible environments;
- Contribute to the architectural evolution of systems based on microservices and containers.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing (AWS);
- Advanced experience with microservices and container architectures;
- Experience with Kubernetes in production environments;
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation;
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitLab or similar);
- Knowledge of programming and/or scripting languages such as Python and Node.js;
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving complex problems;
- Proven experience in critical, high-availability environments.
- Preferred/Desirable:
- Technical certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, HashiCorp, etc.);
- Experience designing high-performance, high-scale solutions;
- Hands-on experience administering and operating Kubernetes clusters;
- Experience with instrumentation and distributed tracing via OpenTelemetry;
- Solid knowledge of application observability (logs, metrics and traces);
- Advanced proficiency in Python and Node.js.
