Job Description
Senior Technical Services Engineer supporting HealthEdge’s healthcare ETL pipelines and software applications. Troubleshooting production issues, optimizing databases, and coordinating deployments across teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support for ETL pipelines processing large healthcare datasets
- Analyze production issues, implement code fixes, troubleshoot technical problems, and deliver immediate solutions
- Collaborate with customers to diagnose and resolve software-related issues
- Deploy, orchestrate, and monitor jobs across environments
- Create process documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Participate in team meetings and scrum activities
- Interface with developers, business analysts, delivery managers, QA teams, project managers, and account managers
- Use JIRA for issue tracking and resolution
- Seek stakeholder feedback to improve skills and adapt processes
- Provide occasional weekend support for critical issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields (or equivalent work experience)
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with C#, SQL, and scripting languages
- Expertise in Python, C#, and Shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting
- Advanced knowledge of SQL query optimization and stored procedures
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Familiarity with Airflow, Talend Studio, Redis, Azure Service Bus, and Kafka messaging platforms
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Bitbucket/Git
- Familiarity with healthcare data formats including EDI files (834, 278, 837, 999)
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Agile methodology experience
- Ability to work across multiple time zones
