Job Description
Senior Video Editor responsible for designing and executing learning videos with a focus on Motion Design at OneCareer. Collaborating closely with the team and optimizing video production workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, produce, and continuously improve learning videos with a focus on motion design, storytelling, and post-production
- Edit videos across various formats (animation, live-action, screencasts, tutorials)
- Independently plan, organize, and prioritize multiple concurrent video projects
- Analyze, optimize, and advance existing video and production workflows
- Provide constructive feedback to junior colleagues and collaborate supportively within the team
- Ensure a consistent level of quality with attention to scalability and reusability
- Coordinate closely with editorial, product development, and other internal stakeholders
- Integrate new tools and trends in AI and automation into video production
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in video editing, ideally with a strong focus on motion design
- Solid experience creating videos with a didactic/educational purpose
- Confident use of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Vyond, or comparable tools
- Experience with audio optimization, color correction, and color grading
- Strong understanding of animation logic, visual dramaturgy, and storytelling
- Structured, self-directed working style with a high level of project ownership
- Team-oriented, reflective demeanor with openness to constructive feedback
- Interest in AI tools, automation, or gamification, and commercial awareness of budgets and scalable content production
