Job Description
Senior Workday Financial Application Analyst optimizing Workday ERP systems for Franciscan Health, a major Indiana healthcare organization. Leading configuration, releases, testing, and finance system enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the reliable performance of ERP systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related software, user access, and other problems
- Gather user requirements, design, configure, test, and implement new ERP functionality
- Coordinate Workday software releases, fixes, and upgrades with Workday, technical teams, and users
- Recommend new features or configuration/workflow changes based on user feedback
- Act as the liaison between IT and Finance/Accounting
- Lead and contribute to Workday projects, enhancements, and optimization opportunities
- Perform functional analysis, design, configuration, scripting, and testing
- Maintain configuration workbooks and support software testing, test plans, test cases, and break fixes
- Lead significant phases of major initiatives, including new module implementations and enhancements
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions with users
- Lead and participate in the Workday adoption planning process, including annual releases
- Perform Workday administrative functions, including business process requests, tenant configurations, and data loads
- Drive feature-release deployment and system maintenance
- Participate in the Master Data Management, Finance Change, and Cross Functional Change Committees
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting - Required
- 5 years Accounting experience - Required
- 3 years Healthcare experience - Preferred
- 4 years Utilizing Workday - as a SME or end user - Required
- Above average knowledge of Excel - Required
- Travel required: up to 20%
