Job Description
Senior Workday HRIS Analyst owning Talent and Performance solutions for Lamb Weston, a global frozen-food manufacturer. Configuring Workday, managing releases, integrations, reporting, security, and HRIS projects.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in discovery sessions with business stakeholders and cross functional teams to recommend best solutions on the Workday platform
- Develop scalable solutions on the Workday platform for Global HR teams, focusing on user experience, performance and security
- Explore opportunities to leverage Workday functionalities and features to improve HR business processes and operations
- Challenge existing business and IT processes, methods and systems to improve operations, security and scalability
- Uphold application security and Workday data integrity, protect sensitive HR data, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in sprint updates and manage sprint communications, project tracking, execution and deliverables
- Design and develop analytics solutions and Workday reports
- Assess impacts of Workday process and configuration changes on other technologies and downstream systems
- Build reports and dashboards with the HR Service Center team to support self-service
- Monitor Workday releases and promote adoption of Workday tools
- Share knowledge with HR Service Center support teams and assist with documentation, guidelines and end-user training materials
- Gather, build and test requirements across Workday HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Talent, Learning, Performance and Recruiting
- Provide mass-update support via EIBs across Workday functional areas
- Support escalated Workday tickets via ServiceNow within established service-level agreements
- Support and collaborate on integrations, including management of current integrations
- Define, configure and document technical requirements for system configurations and enhancements
- Lead the bi-annual Workday release management process for assigned modules, including update analysis, testing scenarios and configuration validation
- Review business requirements, determine feasibility, propose functional solutions and deliver requirements with the HR Service Center
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A minimum of five (5) years of Workday experience with three (3) years specific to the assigned Workday module (Talent and Performance)
- Workday Certification is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/training/experience in Management Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field required
- Advanced experience with the building and maintenance of calculated fields is strongly preferred
- Strong technical and working knowledge of HR systems, applications, theory and practice
- Advanced proficiency with data conversion and mapping
- Ability to provide, in user-friendly terms, sound ideas and solutions to end users on HR systems-related questions, tasks, projects and reports
- Demonstrates an understanding of business objectives both internally and externally which impact the company’s ability to achieve its objectives
