Job Description

DevOps engineer building scalable AWS infrastructure and CI/CD for Impiricus’s AI-powered HCP engagement platform. Improving reliability, security, observability, and QA automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS services or third-party tools
  • Operate and optimize containerized and serverless workloads using EKS, ECS, Lambda, and Fargate
  • Monitor, log, and troubleshoot systems using Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and related observability tools
  • Implement AWS security best practices, including IAM, VPCs, security groups, and secrets management
  • Automate infrastructure operations, scaling, and maintenance using scripting and AWS-native automation services
  • Lead incident response and post-incident reviews to improve reliability, performance, and cost optimization
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects
  • Contribute to and enhance QA automation
  • Support additional infrastructure, platform, and operational efforts as needed
  • Collaborate with Engineering and QA teams on automated testing, issue resolution, and new features

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience building production-grade software, including 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and operating cloud-based infrastructure
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical engineering field
  • Strong experience operating production workloads on AWS, including EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, and SQL
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using AWS-native or third-party tools such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
  • Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud security best practices
  • Programming background in Golang and/or TypeScript is a plus
